A little bit about us
Southdown Consultants is a professional services firm that specialises in working with family lawyers, mediators and associated professionals. Established in 2020 by Ian Hawkins and Paul Gorman our focus is Pensions On Divorce. Ian & Paul have very similar backgrounds, working in financial planning for many years, with a very strong emphasis on financial planning on divorce and particularly pensions. Scott Haslam joined in September 2024. Scott is a Chartered Actuary (Fellow). His actuarial knowledge and experience strengthens our team bringing additional and complimentary skills and knowledge. All three are Directors of Southdown. Our team has steadily grown since 2020 and we are now eleven in number. Our Pension Analysts
Molly, Nihal & Milly are our Pension Analysts. They are involved on a day to day basis in analytical modelling and preparing initial report outcomes, working very closely with our PODE's.
They have both worked on a large number of cases covering a wide range of both public and private sector pension schemes.
They each assist with the collating of information required for cases and monitoring a reports progress.
Our Pension Administrators
Beth & Jessica are our Pension Administrators, responsible for case management.
They gather and collate the pension data we need for each report, acting as a point of contact for the instructing parties when doing so.
They each draft and prepare our pension reports once our analysts and PODE's have prepared and approved outcomes.
